Detailed, qualitative, signed reviews of English-language reference works in any format, back to 1997. Searchable by keyword and broad discipline.
English language reviews of fiction, nonfiction, social science and general science books. The reviews are selected from journals in the humanities, sciences, social sciences and library review media.
Book Review Index Plus  (1965+)  
Guide to book reviews that includes more than five million review citations from thousands of publications, with linking to more than 630,000 full-text reviews.
Information on publications, including in-print, out-of-print, and forthcoming books, audios and videos. Provides book reviews.
CAA Reviews  (1998+)  
Substantial and scholarly book reviews of new art monographs and exhibitions. Published by the College Art Association, the professional organization for art historians, artists, students and museum professionals. Reviews are searchable and can be browsed by subject.

Multi-disciplinary database providing abstract & indexing with select full text for many core scholarly journals as well as popular press periodicals
Annotations of over 16,000 reference works in all fields, from biographical compendia and language dictionaries to specialized encyclopedias, handbooks, and bibliographies. Can be browsed by discipline & type of tool, or else searched by keywords and other criteria. Online-only successor to the American Library Association's Guide to Reference Books, which appeared in 11 previous editions starting in 1902. New and revised entries are being added regularly, and links are provided to electronic resources.
