Leading weekly newspaper in higher education. Full-text plus a database of academic jobs (those published in print in the past month) and the Almanac of Higher Education, (basic statistical information on higher education (e.g., enrollment information or executive compensation)) that is updated annually.
EdStats  (1970+)  
Allows for flexible retrieval of available data from the UNESCO Institute for Statistics (UIS). Presents a large number of education indicators for more than 200 countries.

Sociological Abstracts  (1952+)

U.S. News and World Report Academic Insights  (1988+)  
While primarily designed to be a user-friendly interface to the college data for a particular school, Academic Insight also provides access to the historic data files on which the U.S. News and World Report undergraduate college rankings are based.
